Sales Key Privacy Policy

Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Sales Key handles information when dealership staff and administrators use the app to manage vehicle keys, NFC tags, locations, scan history, and reports.
Information We Collect
- Account information: email address, full name, user role, team, assigned administrator, and selected dealership location.
- Key and vehicle records: key number, NFC tag ID, status, employee, department, location, VIN, manufacturer, model, color, and notes.
- Scan and activity data: scan type, key scanned, user, location, timestamp, recent scan records, and activity records.
- Device permissions: NFC access and camera access where QR code scanning is used.
How We Use Information
- To authenticate users and maintain secure access to the app.
- To create, update, search, and report on dealership key inventory.
- To identify registered keys through NFC tag scans.
- To record scan history and activity for operational accountability.
- To provide customer support, troubleshoot errors, and maintain app reliability.
Data Sharing
Sales Key does not sell personal data. Information may be available to authorized dealership administrators and team members according to their role and location access. Backend infrastructure providers, including Supabase, may process data only as needed to operate authentication, database, storage, and related services.
Tracking And Advertising
The app is not designed for advertising and does not use third-party advertising SDKs or cross-app tracking based on the reviewed project files.
Permissions
- NFC permission is used to scan compatible NFC tags assigned to vehicle key records.
- Camera permission may be used to scan QR codes for key management workflows.
- Internet access is required for sign-in, database access, reports, and support links.
Data Retention
Account, key, vehicle, location, scan, and report data is retained for as long as needed to provide the Sales Key service, comply with dealership operational requirements, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations. Administrators can request correction or deletion according to the dealership's data management process.
Your Choices And Requests
- Users may request profile corrections through their dealership administrator.
- Users may request account or data deletion through the app owner, dealership administrator, or support process.
- Users can control device-level NFC and camera permissions in iOS Settings. Some app features may stop working if required permissions are disabled.
Security
Sales Key uses authenticated access and backend database services to protect app data. No method of transmission or electronic storage is completely secure, so users should protect their login credentials and report suspected unauthorized access promptly.
Children's Privacy
Sales Key is intended for dealership business use and is not directed to children.
International Use
Depending on the dealership and backend configuration, data may be processed in countries other than the user's country of residence. By using the app, users acknowledge that their information may be processed where the service providers operate.
Changes To This Policy
This policy may be updated from time to time. The updated version will show a new last updated date.
